Yes. Friends and family outside our stake are welcome to join in the fun and will need to follow the same registration process
Yes! If you’re graduating this year, you’re absolutely invited and encouraged to attend. This will be a great way to cap off your time in the Young Men’s program and leave a lasting impact.
The cost of YM Camp this year is $50.00 and due by May 4th. Please submit payments to a member of your Bishopric in a tithing envelope. Indicate on the tithing slip the payment is for Young Men Camp and include the camper's name at the top.
Yes. To help create a more focused, uplifting, and connected experience, we are asking that all youth refrain from using cell phones during camp. This will allow the young men to fully engage in the activities, build meaningful relationships, and be present for the spiritual moments we’ve worked hard to prepare.
Our daily schedule includes a mix of activities i.e. team sports, hiking, and more. We also have designated times for meals, rest, and free time.
We have a comprehensive safety plan that includes doctors and other medical trained staff on site. Additionally, several leaders are trained in CPR and first aid.
YM Camp will be held just a short 15-minute drive from Camp LoMia, where the Young Women will also be holding their camp. However, please note that Young Men and Young Women will not be combining for any activities. Both camps will be run completely separately, with their own schedules, leadership, and programming.
Yes. The camp will provide large tents that holds 10-12 youth.
Yes! We strongly encourage each young man to bring a reusable water bottle. Staying hydrated is crucial during camp activities, and reusable bottles help us reduce waste and keep things simple on hikes and throughout the day.
Yes, we will have a sufficient number of porta-potties on site. Brother Mathie will be servicing these personally.
All meals and basic snacks will be provided throughout camp, and we’ll make sure nobody goes hungry! That said, the Young Men are welcome to bring a few of their favorite non-perishable snacks if they’d like. Just keep in mind we’ll be outdoors, so avoid anything that melts easily or attracts wildlife.
Yes and that’s part of the purpose! Camp is designed to challenge the Young Men in positive ways: spiritually, physically, and socially. Whether it’s through devotionals, outdoor activities, or group responsibilities, each young man will be encouraged to step outside his comfort zone, grow in confidence, and strengthen his testimony.
